So what don’t you get with the Cheapest VPS hosting?  Well, managed servers, for starters.  These plans are for people that know how to configure their own VPS.  Available options and upgrades are limited as well. Another thing that may be lacking is 24×7 support.  It may just be email support only.

Cheap virtual private servers can be very reliable, however, they are a budget plan, so you should not expect as much as you would from higher end plans.

Is there such a thing as instant activation for a Virtual Private Server account?  Well, in my research, I would have to say no.  There are some that are really close though. There are some that are 15 minutes or less.  How can they do it so fast?  The have a standard template ready to go.   If you pick a default VPS hosting package then no problem.  Once you starting customizing it, or adding CPanel, its going to take longer.
